An Overview of Our Yoga Classes
At Symmetry Yoga, we offer a variety of hatha yoga classes in several styles and traditions to meet the needs and preferences of our students. All of our classes are taught by dedicated, fully certified instructors and include breathing techniques, a complete warm-up series, a balanced combination of postures, and relaxation or meditation. Our programs include:

KRIPALU: this class is characterized by its meditative focus and conscious, graceful, harmonious movements, with a strong focus on breathwork and the awakening of prana, vital life force energy to promote a sense of complete
well-being.

KRIPALU FLOW: a Kripalu class with a creative flow of postures that moves with emphasis on breath and sensation to promote health, happiness, peace and balance of body, mind and spirit.

VINYASA: a dynamic, flowing practice that links sequences of postures together with the breath, leaving you feeling energized, invigorated and relaxed – a great way to build strength, flexibility and mental focus.

VINIYOGA: known for its individualized approach and safe and effective practices focusing on the use of breath to guide movement to enliven body, mind and spirit and to build strength, flexibility and vitality while respecting individual differences and limitations.

YOGALATES: a fusion of yoga and pilates focusing on building core and upper body strength.

PILATES MAT: a mind-body exercise routine focusing on building core abdominal and back strength and developing spinal flexibility.

How to Register
Enrollment is ongoing. Register at your first class or by mail. We accept checks or cash, no credit cards. New students, and those needing to purchase a new class series, are asked to arrive 10 minutes before class begins. Please let us know before class if you have any significant health issues, recent surgery or are pregnant.

Please be on time for class, and enter the studio quietly, respecting those who wish to meditate before class. All students must sign in before class.

What to Wear and Bring
Wear comfortable, non-binding clothing; no perfume, heavy jewelry or cell phones. Bring your own sticky mat or rent one for $1 per class (mats are available for purchase at the center). Please be on time for class, remove shoes, sign in and enter studio quietly, respecting those who wish to meditate before class.

Policies
Unused classes may not be carried over beyond the expiration date except for medical or family emergencies (notification before returning to class is required). Class series are non transferable; all fees are non-refundable. 24-hour cancellation policy for private sessions.
